Like many of today's famous chefs, Steven Brady was born into the culinary arts. As a young boy growing up in the small, picturesque island of Nantucket, he acquired a taste for New England cuisine working along side his father Donald at the Jared Coffin House.
Chef Brady turned down a scholarship from the University of New Hampshire in order to pursue his passion. He went on to the respected culinary fortress Johnson & Wales University instead and earned a degree to become a professional chef in 2001.
Prior to District, Steven Honed his skills working for over nine years as a sous chef at the Cheesecake Factory Inc. out of California and later at the world renowned White Elephant Hotel in his home town of Nantucket. Over the years, Chef Brady perfected the art of blending fresh local ingredients with international flavors, leaving diners with a delectable experience.
